JWG discussed C-Pack projects related to science and IT

ISLAMABAD: The recently made joint working gathering (JWG) on science and data innovation (IT) participation met on Friday to audit four undertakings, which were made piece of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during the tenth Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting the month before. 



Arranging Minister Asad Umar managed the survey gatherings, which were gone to by Science and Technology Minister Shibli Faraz, IT Minister Aminul Haq, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Minister Atif Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CPEC Khalid Mansoor, and others. The tasks that went under conversation were the foundation of the China Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Science; the procurement of Oceanographic Research Vessel; the foundation of the Institute of Smart Semiconductor and the Establishment of Silicon Solar Cells and the PV Panel Fabrication Facility. Science and Technology Minister Shibli Faraz educated the gathering that a legitimate arrangement and technique were required so Pakistan could profit from the innovation and skill of the Chinese side. At the event, Umar coordinated for finishing the activity plans for these ventures within 30 days. 

In another gathering, areas identified with the recently shaped JWGs, supported as of late by the JCC, were talked about. The areas, broadband availability, innovation parks/IT parks, network protection, programming, and equipment advancement were likewise examined. IT Minister Aminul Haq focused on the requirement for dispatching another specialized help program for Pakistan to meet the necessities of the developing IT Industry. Umar guided the IT service to submit idea notes on these areas so the essential drives could be examined in the impending JWG.
